justadoc is a minimal editor for notes and code snippets. Open it, type, and it’s saved — no buttons, no folders to click through, no lag between thinking and writing.

Why it exists

Writing should feel immediate, notes should stay portable, and the interface should get out of the way. Most editors add chrome faster than they add value. justadoc keeps a single job: hold plain-text Markdown and let you move through it entirely from the keyboard.

What it does
  • Markdown, always. Everything is plain text, so your notes never lock into a proprietary format.
  • Autosave. Changes persist as you type; there is no save button to remember.
  • Global search. Jump across every document from the keyboard without leaving the editor.
  • Code snippets. Syntax highlighting and coding ligatures make it a comfortable home for reusable code.
